
The student Mazen Waleed Wins Silver at Huawei ICT National Competition and Advances to Regional Stage
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly announces a new milestone achieved by one of its outstanding students, Mazen Waleed Aboelmagd Abdelhamid, a second-year Computer Science student, who has won the silver medal in the national phase of the Huawei ICT Competition 2024–2025.
This distinguished achievement qualifies Mazen to represent Egypt in the Regional (North Africa) Phase, where he will compete alongside top-performing teams from Algeria, Cameroon, Angola, Morocco, Tunisia, Ethiopia, and Côte d’Ivoire. As a member of a three-student team, Mazen’s advancement reflects the university’s dedication to fostering globally competitive talent in the field of information and communication technology.
