
MSA Biotechnology Students Showcase Innovative Project at UNESCO
October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its Biotechnology students whose project Loopet has been selected to be showcased at UNESCO as part of the prestigious “WEFE Trail in Motion” Competition. The project was chosen from among more than 400 local and international submissions, affirming the innovation and excellence of MSA students on the global stage.
The project, titled:
“Loopet: AI-Guided Valorization of Poultry Waste into Functional Biomass for Aquaculture and Pet Food Applications in Egypt’s Bioeconomy”
was presented by Radwa Kamal, a Biotechnology student, in collaboration with assistant researchers Mostafa Hesham and Moaz Mandour, Confirming its distinction as an innovative solution to the vital challenges of Water, Energy, Food, and Environment (WEFE+C), the project exemplifies the power of research-driven innovation.
Developed within the Prototyping Research Laboratory at the Faculty of Biotechnology – MSA University, the project demonstrates how advanced scientific research can be transformed into practical, sustainable solutions with significant social and environmental impact.
