The “AI and Academic Integrity: Writing Ethically & Avoiding Plagiarism” workshop was a fantastic success

The Faculty of Mass Communication at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) welcomed a great number of students from all over the university who came together to sharpen their research and writing skills.

During this workshop the students had the opportunity to explore Boolean Google Search techniques for smarter research, learn effective paraphrasing with Microsoft Office tools, discover top academic resources like JSTOR, EBSCOhost & EKB, engage in hands-on exercises to enhance their writing and understand how to use AI wisely in academic research and writing.

The interactive atmosphere and collaboration between faculties made this workshop an inspiring experience. A huge thank you to everyone who participated in this workshop and to Dr. Amira Abdel Moniem, who truly enriched the discussion and helped students grasp the importance of ethical writing in academia.
