Strategic Partnership Between October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) and Benha University

October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is proud to announce the signing of an academic and research cooperation protocol with Benha University, in a strategic step that reflects the depth of the shared vision between the two universities toward developing the higher education system, strengthening scientific research, and supporting institutional integration between public and private universities in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The protocol was signed between Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy – President of Benha University, one of the national academic figures and a key contributor to supporting scientific research and developing university performance, and Prof. Nader ElBokle– President of October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), who leads the university with an ambitious vision based on effective partnerships, distinctive programs, and linking education with innovation and the needs of society.

This took place in the presence of Dr. Nawal El-Degwi – Head of the Board of Trustees of October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, a strong supporter of the journey of academic excellence and the establishment of leading educational institutions; Eng. Engy Mansour – Director of the Human Resources Department at the University; Prof. Ahmed Kamal Nada – Dean of the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Technology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA); Dr. Gehan Abdelhadi – Vice President of Benha University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and a group of faculty deans and academic staff members from MSA University.

The protocol aims to expand areas of joint cooperation in corresponding specializations and academic programs, implement joint scientific research, organize conferences and scientific seminars, and work on securing funding for joint research projects from the relevant authorities. It also includes the exchange, secondment, and delegation of faculty members and teaching assistants in a way that achieves integration in the educational process between the two universities.

The cooperation further includes training for teaching assistants and assistant lecturers at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, and granting them the opportunity to enroll in postgraduate programs at Benha University according to the available specializations. It also includes forming joint scientific supervision committees for graduate theses, contributing to the preparation of distinguished academic and research cadres capable of competing both locally and internationally.
