Pharmacy Level 5 Students Explore Industrial Production at Eva Pharma (Horus Site)
Level 5 students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA) participated in an enriching field trip to Eva Pharma (Horus Site) on December 7, 2025, as part of the Pharmaceutical Technology II (PHT562) course.
Accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Nihal Elsayyad and TA Marian George, The students had the opportunity to explore key industrial departments directly involved in the pharmaceutical production cycle. The visit provided in-depth exposure to tablet manufacturing and soft gelatin capsule production, offering valuable insights into the operations of large-scale pharmaceutical companies.
During the warehouse tour, students learned about the systematic flow of materials—from receiving and storage to distribution—and the importance of proper handling, documentation, and controlled conditions in supporting efficient and compliant manufacturing processes.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Eva Pharma Group, one of Egypt’s leading and fastest-growing pharmaceutical manufacturers, for warmly welcoming our students. With its advanced facilities, strong commitment to innovation, and dedication to producing high-quality medicines, Eva Pharma plays a vital role in strengthening the national healthcare sector.
This field trip provided an excellent opportunity for students to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world industrial practice, significantly enhancing their understanding of pharmaceutical production.
