MSA’s Faculty of Arts and Design Completes Visual Identity Project for Fayoum Governorate
As part of its commitment to supporting Egypt’s vision for sustainable development and cultural preservation, the Faculty of Arts and Design at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly completed and delivered the visual identity project for Fayoum Governorate. This outstanding project highlights the unique natural and cultural heritage of the region, positioning Fayoum as a prominent tourist destination in Egypt and globally.
A Two-Year Creative Journey
The visual identity project, which spanned two years of continuous effort, encompassed a wide array of innovative designs. These included artistic murals, directional and promotional signage, flags, printed materials, uniforms, artistic sculptures, and a dedicated website showcasing Fayoum’s identity. The project aimed to enhance the sense of belonging among Fayoum’s residents while promoting its cultural and touristic assets.
The Official Handover Ceremony
The handover ceremony took place with the presence of Prof.Dr. Nawal El-Degwi, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and Prof.Dr. Khairy Abdel-Hamid, University President, with a distinguished group of university representatives and Fayoum Governorate officials. Leading the university’s delegation was Dr. Tarek Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, accompanied by esteemed faculty members, students, and design contributors.

He announced plans to adopt the project’s designs as the official branding of the governorate, implementing them across government buildings, transportation systems, and daily activities.
