MSA Faculty of Mass Communication Projects Win at the “Youth Changing the Image” Competition by the National Council for Women

The Faculty of Mass Communication at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) achieved top honors in the fifth edition of the “Youth Changing the Image” competition, organized by the National Council for Women. The short film “Like a Feather” , directed by student Yasmin Ahmed under the supervision of Dr. Noha Samir and Mr. Louay Fahmy, won first place.

Additionally, the campaign “Solution 108” secured third place in the campaigns category. The project was produced by students Jasmin Ashraf, Mariam Nader, Yara Abdel Halim, and Farah Osama, under the guidance of Dr. Hayat Badr and Ms. Sally Saeed.

The event also honored the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Amani Fahmy. Prof. Dr. Suzanne El-Kalini, Chair of the Media Committee, praised the students’ work, noting its continued growth and excellence year after year. She emphasized that these projects reflect the increasing awareness among youth regarding societal issues and the vital role of media in challenging stereotypes and supporting women’s causes.
