MSA Faculty of Engineering Students Gain Firsthand Experience at EDEX 2025
A delegation of 85 engineering students from the Faculty of Engineering at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), accompanied by three distinguished faculty members, participated in an academic visit to EDEX 2025 – Egypt Defence Expo, one of the premier defense and security exhibitions in the region.
During the visit, students were exposed to state-of-the-art technologies and innovative engineering applications across the defense and security sectors. The experience offered a unique opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications, allowing students to witness firsthand how engineering principles are implemented in cutting-edge defense solutions.
In addition to observing advanced technologies, students had the chance to engage with industry experts, exchange ideas, and explore potential avenues for research, innovation, and future collaborations. The accompanying faculty members provided scholarly guidance, ensuring that the visit was not only informative but also intellectually rigorous and professionally enriching.
This initiative aligns with MSA University’s commitment to bridging theory and practice, equipping engineering students with the skills, insights, and exposure needed to excel in their future careers. Through such experiential learning opportunities, MSA continues to foster innovation, critical thinking, and professional growth, preparing its students to contribute meaningfully to the engineering field and broader society.
MSA congratulates the participating students and faculty members for their active engagement and dedication, reflecting the university’s mission to provide hands-on, career-oriented educational experiences.
