
Introductory Session on the CFA Program and the Stock Market
The Faculty of Management Sciences at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), in collaboration with the Finance and Investment Management Department, organized an important and highly interactive session for third- and fourth-year students from both the Accounting major and the Finance and Investment Management major.
The session was delivered by Mr. Ahmed Abou El-Saad, MBA, CFA, CEO of Azimut Investments Egypt, Head of Regional Asset Management for MENA & Turkey, and a Board Member of the Egyptian Stock Exchange. Mr. Abou El-Saad also serves as the President of CFA Society Egypt, Chairman of the Egyptian Investment Management Association (EIMA), and a Board Member at the Egyptian Mercantile Exchange.
The session covered a comprehensive set of topics essential for students aspiring to enter the financial sector, including:

- Financial Instruments

Throughout the session, students greatly benefited from the exchange of knowledge and real-world insights shared by the guest speaker. They expressed their appreciation for such opportunities that bridge academic learning with the practical demands and challenges of the job market.
The session was held under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Zakia Abdelmoniem, Head of the Finance and Investment Management Department, and organized by Ms. Al Nada Elgabry and TA Malak Badawy.
The event was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Mohamed El-Deeb, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service and Head of the Accounting Department, as well as Assistant Professor Dr. Asmaa Hamdy, Academic Coordinator of the Finance and Investment Management Department, and Assistant Professor Dr. Bahaaeldin Allam.
