Introduction to Quantum Computing & Quantum machine learning
MSA University at the Forefront of Quantum Innovation 🌟
On Sunday, September 14th, 2025, the Faculty of Computer Science at MSA University proudly hosted the workshop “Introduction to Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning.”
Led by Dr. Ahmed Farouk and Eng. Ashraf Hany, this workshop offered students a unique opportunity to step into the world of Quantum Computing, exploring the principles of Qubits, Superposition, Entanglement, Quantum Circuits, and Algorithms. Students discovered how these groundbreaking concepts are paving the way for the next technological revolution.
The program also delved into Quantum Machine Learning (QML), where participants learned about hybrid models, Variational Quantum Circuits (VQCs), and their applications in artificial intelligence and scientific research.
During the interactive lab session, students gained hands-on experience with Qiskit & Jupyter, building circuits, creating entangled states, and experimenting with a Variational Quantum Classifier — turning theoretical knowledge into real-world practice.
The Faculty of Computer Science extends its gratitude to Dr. Ahmed Farouk, Eng. Ashraf Hany, and all participants for making this workshop a resounding success.
This event highlights MSA University’s strong commitment to innovation, excellence, and preparing the next generation of leaders to shape the future of technology and AI.
