Huawei ICT International Competition 2025 Preparations
The Student Training Committee (MSA STC) at the Faculty of Engineering – October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) held a conference to announce the opening of applications for the competition. The aim is to select a group of distinguished students from the Faculties of Engineering and Computer Science to represent the university in the qualifying rounds of the international competition, which will be held in China.
The conference was attended by:
- Prof. Dr. Nahed Sobhy, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering
- Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fawzy, Director of the Huawei Academy and Head of the Training Committee
- Mr. Ahmed Reda, Director of the Continuing Learning Center (CLC)
- Huawei representatives: Eng. Mohamed Younes and Eng. Mirna
The event also included an honoring ceremony for several faculty members certified by Huawei, who contributed to training students from various faculties at MSA University. The honorees were:
- Dr. Walid El Nahhal
- Dr. Sara Nabih (recipient of the 3rd Best Global Trainer Award for 2025)
- Dr. Hend Osama
- Eng. Yasmine Eid
- Eng. Ahmed Hatem
- Eng. Nora Shaheen
Additionally, student Mazen, winner of the Silver Medal in the 2024 competition, was recognized, along with the Top 30 Trainees of 2025, selected from over 350 students trained through the Huawei Academy at MSA University, in collaboration with the Continuing Learning Center (CLC).
