
Honoring Faculty of Mass Communication Graduates for Monitoring the Portrayal of Women in Ramadan Drama 2025
As part of the ongoing collaboration between the Faculty of Mass Communication at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) and the National Council for Women, a group of the faculty’s graduates took part in analyzing and monitoring the portrayal of women in Ramadan dramas for the year 2025. Their work focused on conducting a content analysis of the 30-episode series “We Tuqabel Habib”.
The graduates were honored during a ceremony organized by the National Council for Women, headed by Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the Council, and Dr. Susan El-Kelliny, Head of the Media Committee, in the presence of Dr. Nesreen El-Baghdady, Vice President of the Council, as well as deans of mass communication faculties, faculty members, civil society representatives, and participating students from various Egyptian universities.
The honored graduates from the Faculty of Mass Communication were:

- Nour Hatem Ahmed
- Haya Mohamed Anwar
- Seif Eldin Hesham Hassan
- Mirna Tamer Atiya
This recognition comes in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in evaluating and analyzing the representation of women in Ramadan drama, under the supervision of Ms. Sara Awad, Teaching Assistant in the Radio and Television Department, and with the continued support of Prof. Dr. Amani Fahmy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, who is committed to empowering students to participate in national initiatives that promote a fair and impactful representation of Egyptian women in media.
At the conclusion of the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participating graduates in recognition of their excellence and valuable contribution to supporting the Council’s efforts toward fostering a more aware, responsible, and equitable media environment in addressing women’s issues.
