- Categories Management Sciences
- Date July 1, 2025
The Faculty of Management Sciences at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) successfully held the presentation and discussions for the Spring 2025 graduation projects.
A total of 276 students from six major specializations—Accounting, Economics, Finance & Investment Management, Human Resources Management, Management Information Systems, and Marketing & International Business Management, presented 123 distinguished projects addressing real-world societal problems. These projects offered valuable solutions and recommendations across a wide range of sectors and industries, with a strong alignment to Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
These final-year projects significantly enhance students’ employability by equipping them with specialized analytical, financial, managerial, economic, marketing, and accounting skills across various disciplines in management sciences. The projects also emphasized competencies in establishing and managing small businesses and private companies operating within the Egyptian market.
Several projects tackled risks faced by banks, financial institutions, and accounting, auditing, and tax firms, such as liquidity risks, interest rate volatility, ESG compliance risks, and corporate governance of banking profits, thus providing students with additional expertise required for careers in these fields.
In relation to career paths in multinational, international, and local companies, especially those with well-established brand names that offer top-tier job benefits, salaries, and professional growth opportunities, the graduation projects addressed marketing risks and fierce competitive challenges. They also introduced students to vital skills, such as:
- Market analysis and product demand estimation, planning and executing advertising campaigns across various media platforms (in the Marketing field).
- Human capital planning, selecting top candidates through professional testing and structured interviews (in the Human Resources field).
- Database creation, website design, and network security (in the Management Information Systems field).
The faculty staff continuously develop the graduation project topics to ensure students are equipped to meet the ever-evolving demands of their respective fields, thereby maximizing their chances of securing top-tier jobs and career opportunities.
The Faculty extends its sincere gratitude to the external examiners, as well as representatives from the University of Greenwich and the University of Bedfordshire, UK, whose valuable feedback and guidance played a pivotal role in enriching and advancing the students’ projects each semester.
