Faculty of Management Sciences – Accounting and Finance Day
The Faculty of Management Sciences at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is proud to celebrate the great success of Accounting and Finance Day.
The event was organized under the patronage of Prof. Dr. El Sayed Nagi, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed El Deeb (the vice dean for community and environmental issues and the Head of Accounting Department) and Assoc. Prof. Zakia Abdelmoneim (Head of Finance and Investment management Department), with the coordination of Dr. Eman Adel and Dr. Bahaa Allam.
The day started by the ACCA ceremony for Finance and investment management programme for receiving the ACCA accreditation for a period of 4 years, and Accounting programme for receiving additional exemptions for the ACCA.
The day highlighted the university’s strong partnerships with leading professional bodies such as ESAA, ACCA, IMA, and professional certificate providers like Business Mentors and Finance Coach, emphasizing the importance of global professional certifications in accounting and finance.
The event key speakers are Mr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Hassan (General Manager of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors), Ms. Nurihan AbdelBary ElTatawy (ACCA Market Development Manager ), Mr. Ahmed El-Sakhawy (Country Manager, IMA Egypt), Dr. Hesham Hassan (Managing Director of Finance Coach, and Mr. Moataz Elshafey (Financial Controller/FP&A Expert, Business Mentors).
Special thanks to our inspiring guest speakers, Malak Muhammad Abdelaziz (Assurance Associate at PwC Middle East) and Omar El Mougy (Decision Support Manager for the Nile Cluster at Nestlé Egypt), for sharing their professional journeys and motivating our students.
During the event, the faculty celebrated its graduates and undergraduates who completed and received professional certificates; they were recognized and honored by Associate professor Dr. Samia Elsheikh the vice dean for students’ affairs, and the day was ended by honoring our partner organizations with trophies and certificates in appreciation of their efforts.
It was a remarkable day of learning, inspiration, and pride in our students’ and graduates’ achievements!
