The Faculty of Mass Communication is pleased to invite faculty members, students from all faculties and alumni to attend and participate in the literary symposium on the entirety of the works of the great novelist and write Yousef Al-Qaid.
Youssef Al-Qaid is considered as one of the pioneers of the novel in the post- Naguib Mahfouz era, with whom he had a strong connection with. Al-Qaid was awarded the State Appreciation Prize in Literature back in 2008, and his novel “The War in Land of Egypt” ranked the fourth among the 100 best Arab novels.
