The Faculty of Mass Communication at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is thrilled to invite you to an exceptional event titled “Visual Journalism: Stories Through the Lens”, a celebration of the art of storytelling through visual media. This event will include an exclusive screening of student projects, showcasing the creativity, dedication, and talent of our rising visual journalists.
Adding to the excitement, we are honored to have distinguished photojournalists Adel Mubarez, Amr Nabil, and Galal Mesry as our judging panel. Renowned for their significant contributions to visual journalism, they will provide insightful feedback and share their expertise to inspire and guide our students toward greater achievements.
As part of the event, the Faculty of Mass Communication at MSA University will proudly present the Lens of Truth Award, recognizing the best unedited photojournalistic story produced by our outstanding students. This initiative, supervised by Dr. Fieby Raouf, Dr. Ayat Embabi, and Dr. Sara Magdy, underscores the importance of authentic journalism and the power of truthful storytelling without manipulation. This award is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the Radio and Television Department and the Journalism Department within the faculty.
