MSA Hosts the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority for an Orientation Session on Non-Banking Financial Activities

The Faculty of Management Sciences at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is pleased to announce an upcoming orientation session delivered by the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), aimed at introducing students to the fundamentals of non-banking financial activities and the structure of Egypt’s financial markets.

This visit is held within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the FRA and the Supreme Council of Universities, supporting MSA’s ongoing mission to connect students with leading national institutions.

The session will be led by Professor Dina Kamal, Head of the Central Department for Financial Awareness and Culture at the FRA.
Prof. Kamal will provide students with an insightful introduction to the FRA’s role and the landscape of non-banking financial services in Egypt.

Students will be introduced to essential themes that shape the non-banking financial sector, including:

* Trading in the capital market
* Insurance
* Real estate finance
* Consumer finance
* Factoring
* Movable collateral
* Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)

These topics will help students build the foundational understanding necessary for careers in finance, investment, and regulatory affairs.

Following the on-campus session, MSA students will be invited to visit the FRA headquarters for complementary courses and workshops designed to enhance their practical knowledge and exposure to real-world financial operations.

This upcoming event reflects MSA University’s commitment to enriching student learning experiences through strategic partnerships with Egypt’s major financial institutions, ensuring that graduates are equipped with the skills and awareness required to excel in a rapidly evolving financial environment.
