The Faculty of Computer Science at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) is pleased to host a special guest lecture by Dr. Ahmed Farag, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Suez University. Dr. Farag also serves as Head of the Space Committee at the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, a member of the National Committee for Astronomy and Space Sciences at the Academy of Scientific Research, and a member of the Communications, Information Technology, and Space Committee at the Arab Engineers Federation.
In this lecture, Dr. Farag will introduce students to the fascinating world of space science and technology. The session will cover a wide range of topics including the history of space exploration, the importance of space technologies, and how space is used in modern life. Students will also learn about space missions, satellite subsystems, different types of satellites, mission orbits, ground tracks and coverage, and the launch process.
