Designing for the Hidden Majority Exhibition
“Designing for the Hidden Majority” – and the impact keeps growing!
The Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Arts and Design at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly welcomes this groundbreaking exhibition that’s redefining how we think about space, comfort, and well-being.
Our inspiring showcase was officially inaugurated by Prof. Tarek, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, and Prof. Khaled, Head of the Interior Design Department, in the presence of both passionate professors and enthusiastic students. The opening set the stage for a week full of innovation, emotion, and eye-opening design.
Initiated and led by Dr. Sarah Nabih (Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Design), the exhibition features research-driven interior solutions originally crafted for hyperthyroid patients – but designed to benefit anyone navigating heat sensitivity, anxiety, or sensory stress.
Dive into a space where design transforms into therapy – creating cool, calming, and wellness-enhancing environments, while promoting sustainability and inclusivity in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The exhibition is still running all week at Building G – Ground Floor.
