BRIEF:
The club supports talented university students in writing and reading, guiding them on the right path to excel beyond the university and represent it in literary circles. By developing critical thinking, and fostering a collaborative community, we seek to inspire intellectual growth and a love for literature
MISSION:
To create a cultural community that includes writers, readers, and those passionate about Arabic and English literature, enhancing their understanding through discussions and following their works. Our club also aims to become a hub for intellectual and cultural life on and off campus, where students can engage in deep, thoughtful discussions and develop a lifelong love of reading.
VISION:
Our vision for the book club is to meet the cultural needs of the university community and keep pace with cultural developments beyond its walls. We aim to foster a dynamic literary environment that encourages students to develop their talents in both Arabic and English.

Book Club
The Faculty of Biotechnology Book Club reopened its doors after a year and a half break due to the pandemic. The book club hosted a relaunch event that took place on Monday, 15th of November at the Student Services Building (SSB) to recruit new members.
Biotech’s Book Club started back in 2014 and since then the club hosted several successful events and several renowned authors. Before the pandemic occurred, the author “Engy El Hosseiny” was the guest author for the book club’s last event, where an interesting open discussion about her book ”بعد الرحيل” took place.
If you have missed the relaunch event, Biotech’s Book Club is still welcoming literary passionate students from all over the university.
