A talented team of students and alumni from October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA) Faculty of Biotechnology – Hana Mazroua, Radwa Kamal, Norhan El Hefnawy, and Mohamed Sayed – has successfully qualified for the semi-final stage of the prestigious global startup competition START Fellowship, hosted at Nile University under the Fast Track Code startup acceleration program.

The team is competing with their startup Pollibotics, which aims to revolutionize the agricultural sector by automating farming operations in alignment with the demands of modern technology and sustainable innovation.

This groundbreaking project was developed within the Prototyping Research Lab at the Faculty of Biotechnology, under the supervision of:

Dr. Ahmed Gomaa, Principal Investigator of the Lab
Prof. Dr. Gehan Safwat, Vice Dean of the Faculty
Prof. Dr. Ayman Diab, Dean of the Faculty

This achievement reflects the ability of our students to transform innovative ideas into practical, market-ready solutions capable of competing both locally and globally. Congratulations to our outstanding students and alumni on this remarkable milestone – and best wishes for continued success in the upcoming stages of the competition.
