A field trip to Zamil Steel Company for Civil and Architecture Students

The Civil Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) organized a field trip to Zamil Steel Company for Civil and Architecture Students for two groups.

Zamil Steel Company is one of Africa’s foremost leaders in pre-engineered steel buildings, with over 50% of the Egyptian market share and exports to more than 30 African nations. During our time at Zamil Steel Company, the students had the privilege of witnessing the intricate manufacturing process of steel sections. From the raw materials entering the workshop to the finished steel sections ready for shipment, every step of the process was executed with precision and expertise.

Moreover, engaging with industry professionals gave the students invaluable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities within the steel industry.
