Faculty of Management Sciences Organizes Training Program at the Financial Regulatory Authority
The Faculty of Management Sciences at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) successfully organized a specialized training program at the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA).
The program was designed for 60 third- and fourth-year students from the Finance and Investment Management and Accounting departments
The training program was attended by Professor Mohamed Eldeeb, Head of the Accounting Department and Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service; Associate Professor Dr. Zakia Abdelmoneim, Head of the Finance and Investment Management Department; and Assistant Lecturers Ahela Ayman and Nada Salah, reflecting the Faculty’s strong academic support and commitment to student development.
The program focused on non-banking financial literacy, aiming to prepare and qualify competent professionals in the field of non-banking financial activities. It sought to enhance students’ awareness, broaden their understanding of financial services, and provide them with practical, applied experiences that support both their academic studies and future professional careers.
Throughout the training, students were introduced to a wide range of key topics related to the non-banking financial sector, including insurance, mortgage finance, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), personal finance, capital markets, collateral registry systems, factoring, leasing, and consumer finance.
This initiative aligns with MSA University’s strategic vision to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world practice, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills while strengthening their readiness to contribute effectively to the financial sector and the broader national economy.
