Interior Design Department Concludes “Designing the Student Mindset” Transformative Session

The Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Arts and Design, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), successfully concluded the transformative session titled “Designing the Student Mindset,” designed and delivered by Associate Professor Sarah Nabih.

The session was developed in response to a common academic challenge faced by students during the mid-semester period, often characterized by mental fatigue and creative exhaustion. Rather than focusing on conventional studio work, the session introduced an innovative approach—shifting attention away from drawing and technical production to address the most critical project of the semester: the student mindset.

Through guided discussions, reflective exercises, and practical frameworks, students were equipped with tools to enhance clarity, rebuild focus, and regain creative confidence. The session emphasized mindset design as a foundation for academic performance, creative productivity, and personal well-being.

This initiative reflects the Interior Design Department’s commitment to holistic education, ensuring that students are supported both academically and mentally throughout their learning journey. It also highlights MSA University’s ongoing efforts to foster resilient, self-aware graduates capable of navigating academic and professional challenges.
