MSA’s Faculties of Dentistry and Physiotherapy Conduct Joint Training for Dentists in Giza

In a collaborative effort to enhance professional skills and promote healthcare standards, the Faculties of Dentistry and Physiotherapy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) recently conducted a specialized training course for 20 dentists from health units and government hospitals across Giza Governorate.

This initiative aligns with the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health and the Faculty of Dentistry, as well as the joint cooperation protocol between the Faculties of Dentistry and Physiotherapy, reflecting MSA’s commitment to continuous professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.

During the training, members of the Sustainable Development Committee at the Faculty of Dentistry highlighted the most prevalent oral cancers and emphasized methods of early detection, equipping participants with vital knowledge to improve patient outcomes. Faculty members from the Faculty of Physiotherapy also contributed by presenting ergonomics in dental practice, helping dentists optimize their work techniques and maintain long-term occupational health.

This collaborative training exemplifies MSA’s dedication to combining academic expertise with practical community impact, strengthening the capacity of healthcare professionals in Egypt.
