Faculty of Management Sciences Concludes Three Professional Workshops for Accounting, Finance & Investment Students
The Faculty of Management Sciences at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) has successfully concluded three high-impact professional workshops designed for third and fourth-year students from both the Accounting Major and the Finance & Investment Management Major.
This initiative comes as part of the faculty’s continuous efforts to strengthen the integration between academic learning and real-world applications, ensuring students gain practical exposure that enhances their career readiness.
Workshop Highlights
🔹 Cash Budget Workshop
Delivered by Mr. Mostafa ElAraby, CEO of CFO Factory, this workshop provided students with hands-on experience in preparing and analyzing cash budgets, emphasizing the importance of liquidity planning and financial decision-making in corporate environments.
🔹 Audit of Internal Controls & IC Risk Workshop
Presented by Dr. Mohamed Hany, Feasibility Study and Financial Analysis Manager at NANSC (Ministry of Civil Aviation), this session introduced students to key auditing practices, methods for assessing internal control risks, and the role of auditors in maintaining organizational integrity and compliance.
🔹 Stock Valuation & DCF Modeling Workshop
Led by Mr. Ibrahim Mansour, CMA and FP&A Lead at EBC | InstaPay, this workshop focused on investment valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling, equipping students with essential tools widely used in financial analysis and investment decision-making.
