MSA Faculty of Pharmacy Students Explore Innovation at L’Oréal Egypt
In an exceptional educational experience that bridges science and industry, the 4th-year students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) visited the L’Oréal Egypt factory — a global hub of innovation in the beauty and personal care industry.
The visit gave students a behind-the-scenes look at cutting-edge manufacturing and packaging processes for a variety of cosmetic products, including anti-aging creams, shampoos, and hair care lines. They observed how these products are carefully developed — from initial scientific concepts to fully packaged, market-ready solutions — reflecting the precision and innovation that define L’Oréal’s global standards.
This field trip was designed as a practical extension of the students’ coursework in the cosmetics course, helping them link theoretical pharmaceutical knowledge with real-world industrial applications. By witnessing how ingredients, formulations, and technologies come together to create effective products, students gained a deeper understanding of the pharmacy field’s connection to the cosmetics industry.
Such industry visits reflect the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to integrated learning experiences that prepare students for real-world professional environments. By fostering strong ties with leading companies, MSA equips its future pharmacists with the skills, knowledge, and exposure needed to thrive in competitive and innovative fields.
