  • British Education: The Faculty of Mass Communication is validated by British university Bedfordshire; which means that graduates earn two bachelor degrees; one from Egypt and the other from United Kingdom.

    • Highly performing students are recruited as teaching assistants and are supported to pursue their master degrees to advance in their teaching career.  
    • The Career Placement Center (CPC) at MSA organizes two employment fairs annually. These fairs include a wide range of national and multinational companies in various fields that offer job opportunities to the students. Interview skills and CV writing workshops are simultaneously provided by CPC to get the students prepared for these fairs.  
    • The center for studies and statistics announced that 96.6% of MSA graduates are immediately employed after graduation.

  • Extra-Curricular Activities:  

    • MSA Annual festival; seeking to bridge the gap between MSA Mass Communications graduates and media practitioners in an annual gala festival that features student’s work before a number of exquisite professionals and on national and international media. Along with expanding their horizons and interaction with new experiences.  
    • MSA TV; Student-Staff TV on campus service, soon to be available online. MSA TV was founded by student and staff effort collaboration that allowed this channel to have its identity of “giving back to students and society”. MSA TV allows students a platform for training on different broadcast tasks on professional level through a set of training sessions in domains of presenting, directing, camera operation and production and productions of their own programs to be streamed on campus.

    • Dr. Adel Yehia - director and head of Cinema Institute.
    • Dr. Reem Wagdy, Mohamed Turk , Amal Jozilan - news anchors.

  • Newsroom and Editing facilities:  

    • Two TV studios equipped with : Mixers - Professional Cameras - Monitors - Lighting Equipment.
    • Two Professional Radio Studios equipped with the latest professional radio production equipment including mixers , professional microphones, and control rooms.
    • Two editing rooms equipped with more than 40 Apple Macintosh Computers for video and audio editing.

Who are taking either MCOM 211a, MCOM 212a, or MCOM 231a this semester are urgently required to officially Declare their major by downloading the Major Declaration Form, filling it out and submitting it to Office B147 (Reference Mrs. Mariam Magdy or Mrs. Nourhan Abdel Rahman).
