Admission Requirements for Faculty of Mass Communication

MSA University - Mass Communication Admission


The programme accepts students who passed Egyptian Thanaweya Amma Degree (National High School Certificate) or any other equivalent High School Degree (IGCSE, GCSE, American High School Diploma, Abitur, IB, French BACC, National High School Certificate from Arab Countries). The Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities declares the conditions for enrolling into the different faculties at MSA and other private universities that operate under the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities. The minimum percentage varies from one year to the other and is declared to all applicants during the summer prior to their admission to the university.

Thanaweya Amma Admission is open to all Thanaweya Amma Holders.
IGCSE & GCSE At least 8 O level subjects including:

    English language or Literature,
+ 5 O level subjects from:

Chemistry , Physics, Global Studies , History , Economics, Computer, Math , Biology, Psychology , Statistics, French , German , Social Studies, Geography, Accounting. + 2 O level subjects chosen from the approved list set forth by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.
American Diploma SAT 1 Exam is a must plus 8 subjects including:

    English language or Literature,

+ 5 Compulsory subjects from the following list:

Chemistry, Physics, Global Studies , History , Economics, Computer, Math , Biology, Psychology , Statistics , French , German , Social Studies , Geography , Accounting. + 2 subjects chosen from the approved list set forth by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.

* Other foreign certificates including certificates from Arab countries are evaluated at the Admission Office according to the regulations of the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.
