What is the UK Student Study Summer Abroad Programme?

The UK Student Study Summer Abroad Programme is an exceptional international learning experience designed to enhance MSA students’ academic and cultural exposure. Organized by the UK Central Quality Assurance, cooperation and International Partnership Unit, the program offers students the opportunity to study abroad at MSA’s esteemed UK partners, the University of Greenwich and the University of Bedfordshire.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:

This program immerses students in a dynamic learning journey that pushes them beyond the boundaries of their academic specialization. By stepping into different roles throughout the trip, they gain firsthand experience in fields outside their own, fostering adaptability, critical thinking, and a multidisciplinary perspective. This exposure enriches their understanding, challenges their potential, and equips them with a versatile skill set that extends beyond the classroom.

When does the program take place?

The program is held annually during July and August. Specific dates are announced via students’ academic emails from the UK Summer Abroad Abroad Programme Unit.

Who is eligible to apply?

Candidates must meet the following criteria:
• A strong academic profile with a competitive CGPA.
• A successful personal interview with the Head of the UK Central Quality Assurance & International Partnership Unit.
• A commitment to actively participating in both the theoretical and practical components of the program.

What does the program include?

The program consists of two main components:

Theoretical Learning and practical experience in the UK aiming to enhance the students employability attributes and their interpersonal skills. The students attend specialized courses at the University of Greenwich or the University of Bedfordshire, delivered by esteemed UK instructors.

The Programme has been subject to continuous development through out the years. The programme vision is creating Internationalization in higher education. Its mission is  establishing student mobility. While its Objective is developing the students employability  attributes towards achieving Agile graduates holding attributes of Proactivity, Resilience, Competence, Flexibility, Adaptability & Sustainability.

What courses are offered?

Our programs continuously adapt to meet the ever-evolving demands of the market, ensuring that students receive the most relevant and up-to-date education. The courses offered are not fixed; they are regularly updated to align with industry trends and advancements.

At the University of Bedfordshire, students have previously engaged in, Data Analytics with Python, Business Analytics and Content Creation for TV & Radio

At the University of Greenwich, students from the Faculty of Engineering and the Architecture Programme have participated in an advanced Architecture workshop, where they analyze, reflect upon, and interpret cutting-edge architectural concepts under the guidance of expert academics.
