the Launch Ceremony of the Al-Ahed Competition

Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, through the Central Administration for Civil Education and under the backing of the General Administration for Rehabilitation of Youth Cadres and the General Administration of the Information Office, organized the launch ceremony of the “Al-Ahed” competition.

 

This competition comes in implementation of the recommendations of the activities of the Youth Media Leaders Forum, with the aim of linking youth with the stories of the heroes of the homeland from the armed forces, and increasing belonging to the homeland by highlighting the stories of these heroes and the injured.

 

Within the framework of the competition, MSA University achieved second place for the movie "Heroes among the Masses", which was presented by student Mohamed Ahmed, under the supervision of Dr. Hala Galal and Assistant Lecturer Donia Essam, from the Department of Radio and Television, Faculty of Mass Communication. He was awarded a prize of 5,000 Egyptian pounds.

 

Additionally, three campaigns from the Public Relations and Advertising Department won the fourth place, under the name “Long Live the Martyr.” The first of them was for Battalion 103, which was presented by Omar Fayez, Mirna Saleh, and Kenz Mohamed Othman.

 

The second is a campaign on the martyr Dr. Ahmed Madi, and the third is a campaign on the nation’s martyrs. Presented by students Omar Al-Shawaf, Mariam Muhammad, Menna Ahmed, Eddy Bahaa, and Sama Imam, these campaigns are supervised by Dr. Rania Shaaban and teaching assistants Ms.Rana Rashad and Ms.Rokaya Saber

 

It is worth mentioning that 13 universities and 35 projects participated in this competition, reflecting the interactive and positive impact of this initiative. Thanks are extended to the Dean of the College, Prof. Amani Fahmy, for her continuous support to all students and her ongoing encouragement to them.
