The Faculty of Mass Communication Showcases Innovative Graduation Projects in Public Relations and Advertising

The Faculty of Mass Communication hosted the Department of Public Relations and Advertising's presentations of outstanding graduation projects for fourth-year students. The event was held under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Amani Fahmy, Dean of the Faculty.

 

Students presented innovative campaigns addressing the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and aligning with Egypt's Vision 2030. These presentations come within the framework of continuous efforts to encourage creativity and innovation in the field of public relations and advertising.

 

The event was attended by a committee of distinguished experts, supervised by Dr. Hayaat Badr, Dr. Rania Shaaban, and Dr. Hassan Marey, as well as assistant professors Monda Magdy and Sally Saeed, and teaching assistant Rana Rashad.

 

The campaigns covered a wide range of important topics, including awareness campaigns about childhood obesity, musical culture, healthy lifestyle, and other topics such as Alzheimer's and empowering people with disabilities. The campaigns also aimed to raise awareness in the community about various issues including stuttering, the use of skin cancer prevention products, and environmentally friendly green products.

 

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) sponsored three women empowerment projects and the Fayoum Governorate sponsored two projects aimed at preserving Egyptian identity and promoting tourism.

 

The graduation projects' discussions were enriched by the presence of distinguished academics, including Prof. Tharwat El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University. Professor Maha El-Tarabishi and Dr. Dina Arabi participated as internal examiners, while external lecturers such as Dalia Azzat, Media Planner, and Mustafa Salem, Concept Designer, attended.

 

The judging panels also included Dr. Reem Adel, Head of the Research Department at the Faculty of Arabic Studies, Professor Nehal Gamal, Marketing Partner at Ebb&Tide Agency, and Dr. Hanan Ghaly from the Faculty of Mass Communication at Misr International University, along with representatives from UNIDO and prominent figures in the fields of digital marketing and content creation.
