Dean’s Welcome Note

Distinguished colleagues, esteemed faculty members, dedicated administrative staff, and above all, our ambitious and talented students. It is my honor and privilege to welcome you to the Faculty of Management Sciences at MSA University. As one of Egypt’s fastest-growing and most dynamic business schools, we take great pride in our role as a catalyst for intellectual growth, professional development, and societal impact.
We operate in an era defined by unprecedented velocity—economic volatility, rapid technological disruption, shifting socio-cultural norms, and evolving geopolitical landscapes. In response to these complexities, we firmly believe that the modern business school must transcend traditional boundaries. It must become a living laboratory for agility, innovation, and lifelong learning. This conviction lies at the very heart of our academic philosophy.
Our core mission is clear and unwavering: to shape the next generation of business leaders—individuals who are not only equipped to navigate global markets but also empowered to redefine them. We are committed to cultivating graduates who embody the highest standards of analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and ethical judgment.
To that end, we have embedded within our curriculum and co-curricular experiences a set of foundational graduate attributes: rational and critical thinking; clear, correct, and persuasive communication; and the strategic deployment of technology in both educational and professional contexts. Whether our students aspire to lead multinational corporations, launch transformative startups, or drive change within public institutions, these competencies serve as the foundation of their future success.
Through project-based learning, collaborative teamwork, digital literacy initiatives, and advanced oral and written communication tools, we continually challenge our students to move beyond passive reception of knowledge towards active construction of meaning. We encourage curiosity, reward initiative, and foster resilience—qualities essential for thriving in an ever-changing business environment.
Our academic structure comprises six interconnected departments—Accounting, Economics, Management Information Systems, Human Resources Management, Finance and Investment Management, and Marketing and International Business—each contributing uniquely to a holistic and rigorous educational experience. Together, we design and deliver programs that are responsive to market needs, grounded in theory, and enriched by practice.
At the Faculty of Management Sciences, we operate with a clear strategic compass—guided by our vision, mission, and measurable objectives. Every academic program, research initiative, and institutional partnership is carefully planned, executed, and evaluated to ensure alignment with our pursuit of excellence and relevance.
I am immensely proud of what we have achieved as a unified academic community. Our validation by the University of Greenwich in 2013 and our institutional accreditation by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) in August 2016and 2024 marked significant milestones—not only for our faculty but for business education across Egypt. We were the first faculty of its kind in the nation to attain this distinguished recognition, a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality, transparency, and continuous improvement.
As we move forward, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of new frontiers in teaching, research, and community engagement. We will continue to invest in innovation, international collaboration, and student-centered learning—always with the goal of making our faculty stronger, our graduates more competitive, and our contributions more impactful.
