Mass Communication Faculty celebrates Dr.Hala Galal’s appointment as head of 26th Ismailia Film Festival

The Faculty of Mass Communication at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) would like to celebrate and congratulate Dr. Hala Galal, a member of the Faculty who has been appointed as the Head of the 26th edition of the Ismailia International Documentary and Short Film Festival.

The Ismailia International Documentary and Short Film Festival is one of the most prominent and prestigious festivals in the Arab world, the first edition of which was launched in 1991.

This decision reflects a great appreciation for her talent and extensive experience in filmmaking and festivals, according to Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Henno. Thus, we expect that the next edition will witness creativity and renewal befitting the long history of this festival thanks to the Artistic Leadership of Director Hala Galal, who will add more brilliance and excellence to the Arab and International cinematic scene.

This achievement is a part of the University’s commitment to provide full support to its faculty members who contribute in raising the standards of arts and media at the local and international levels.
