Metaverse Journalism Seminar by Khaled Ammar at MSA University

As part of the strategy of October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) for digital transformation and artificial intelligence, the Faculty of Mass Communication hosted the journalist Mr. Khaled Ammar, the founder of the Virtual Media Project and consultant to the International Journalists Network in Washington.

Mr. Khales Ammar gave a seminar titled ‘Metaverse: A New Era in Journalism’, and it marks as the second event in an informative series titled “Metaverse: A New Era in Mass Media.” This seminar covered topics related to the use of artificial intelligence in newsrooms, blockchain, NFTs, and the utilization of Metaverse technology in the film and cinema industry. Moreover, it was divided into two sections. The first section included theoretical explanations and video presentations of virtual studios while the second section focused on practical aspects, where several faculty members and assistants experienced the use of virtual reality glasses.
