Beyond Omics: Unveiling Biological Secrets

The Faculty of Biotechnology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) remains dedicated to providing its students with the highest levels of academic and scientific knowledge.

As part of this endeavor, the “Academic Seminars & Symposium” under the supervision of Prof. Gehan Safwat hosted a seminar by Dr. Ebtesam Abdel-Shafy, a post-doctoral fellow at the Cancer Genomics Research Group in Cape Town, South Africa. Her talk, titled “Beyond Omics: Unveiling Biological Secrets,” explored advanced biological research disease mechanisms beyond conventional omics methodologies.

The students enthusiastically engaged and expressed their profound admiration for the invaluable content presented.

To recognize her valuable contributions, Prof. Gehan Safwat, the vice dean of faculty of Biotechnology honored Dr. Ebtesam with the faculty shield.
