From Formulation to Perfection: Industry Insights and Six Sigma in Action

The Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy, October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA), recently organized a dynamic event that brought together academic knowledge and practical pharmaceutical applications.

Our distinguished guest, Eng. Ahmed Mansour—a seasoned Business Development and Financial Consultant with multiple Six Sigma and training certifications—delivered an enriching session on process improvement strategies. He illustrated how these tools enhance performance in both manufacturing and service settings and discussed key competencies needed to thrive in today’s competitive pharmaceutical market.

At the same time, Pharmaceutical Technology students presented inventive scale-up approaches for challenging dosage forms, offering practical solutions to industry-level challenges. Dosage Forms students showcased their talent in pharmaceutical promotion by producing eye-catching brochures and compelling video content.

In a heartwarming finale, the most outstanding posters and brochures were recognized with certificates, celebrating the students’ dedication, creativity, and hard work.
