Seating Units Equipped With Energy-saving Solar Panels

Within the framework of the mission of the Faculty of Arts and Design to link education with the labor market, build bridges with industry and achieve the Egyptian development Plan, the students of Interior Design Department,

through Furniture Design course, implemented sustainable outdoor furniture units in cooperation with furniture companies and factories. The students presented a variety of seating units equipped with energy-saving solar panels to charge electrical devices, which are suitable for all uses and can be used in new emerging cities. In addition, they presented their projects today and explained the stages of implementation and cost, in the presence of representatives from the industry, who praised the students and the effort made by faculty members.
