Supporting our top achieving students

The Faculty of Biotechnology is always keen to support and encourage their top achievers. A groundbreaking conference was recently held, bringing together some of the brightest minds in the field.

Even though the conference was not open to undergraduate students, the faculty of biotechnology was thrilled to provide 10 free invitations to the outstanding students as a recognition accompanied with 2 staff members to attend the 18th Annual Conference of Egyptian Society of NAFLD-NASH and its Complication. The conference was in collaboration with the Egyptian Group for updates in Hepatology and Gastroenterology African Medical Association of Nile Basin Countries (AMANBC) that took place at the Grand Nile Tower Hotel on the 11th and 12 of May, 2023.

To acknowledge the valuable efforts of our first class students and to ensure that they keep competing with the same spirit, they had the opportunity to learn from some of the most accomplished scientists in the world. The conference mainly covered the latest trends in topics like gut microbiota in NASH, diabetes, and hepatocellular carcinoma and immunity. We believe that this experience will be invaluable to them as they continue to pursue their studies and careers.

To many more achievements and rewards for our striking students!
