Faculty of Biotechnology Graduation Projects' Discussions

The Faculty of Biotechnology held its Graduation Project Discussions which was truly an astounding success.

 

222 Individual Graduation projects were held in more than 30 research institutes across the country, additionally 4 students have completed their projects’ practical in research labs within Germany and Spain.

 

A total of 7 new hosts joined the list this fall including the Ministry of Defense’s Military Labs for Vetrenary medicine; the National Research Center-textile technology; the Faculty of Physical therapy at MSA; The Equestrian club; ALBA Synchrotron (Spain); University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany), and Cellula group.

 

The faculty was honored to welcome a plethora of distinguished external examiners and supervisors, a total of 71 examiners, who noted that the students’ performance noticeably improves year by year.

 

It was a truly memorable experience with delightful presentations on interesting topics pertaining to cutting edge research, among the topics were presentations on the detection of genetic variants and cultivars; the assessment of wounding healing capabilities in vitro; the utilization of secondary metabolites for pharmaceutical products, etc.
