A tour of the facilities was conducted, exhibiting advanced equipment of the highest quality and caliber both nationally and internationally; visited labs included labs for Chromatography, Spectroscopy, Elemental Analysis, and Nanotechnology.

The tour was overseen by Prof. Yasser Mostafa, Head of the institute, and Prof. Nermine Hefny, Prof. Dr. In refining department and Head of physical refining laboratory, and was inclusive of all potential research and development aspects to showcase and create sustainable industrial products, that are locally sourced and developed in Egypt.

The visit concluded with a meeting for the organization of the upcoming joint workshop, which will be held in September, with the aim of bringing novel projects and applicable prototypes to potential investors. This visit marks the commencement of a prosperous collaboration in capabilities, that advance multiple disciplines between the institutes.
