4th Book Fair under the title "Egypt, Russia ... Culture and more"

 

From 29th March - 10 April 2021 @SSB 4th Book Fair

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, MSA faculty of Mass Communication and the MSA Writers Association hold the 4th Book Fair under the title "Egypt, Russia ... Culture and more" in cooperation with Akhbar Al-Youm Publishing and Distribution House and the Russian Cultural Center from 29 March - 10 April 2021

The exhibition comes in light of the Egyptian – Russian Culture Year 2021, spurring from the belief - of MSA university and its founder Prof. Nawal El Degwi – in the role of soft power in bridging the gaps between cultures

 

The exhibition will be held - for the first time - with 360 Digital Interaction technology, which will allow the exhibition to be held on the university campus, in addition to an interactive online version.

 

A grand opening ceremony will be held featuring performances from the Russian folkloric troupe, the Ministry of Culture troupe, and the Tala'aa Troupe of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in the presence of Her Excellency Prof. Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, His Excellency Prof. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, His Excellency Georgy Borisenko, Ambassador of Russia to Egypt, Russian Cultural Counselor Alexey TEVANYAN, and Mr. Sherif Gad, Head of Cultural Activities at the Russian Cultural Center.

 

Along with a vast list of public figures and pioneers of Egyptian culture, among whom are the “Kirpichenko” family of the former Russian ambassador, interpreter And writer Makarim Al-Ghamry, Ahmed Galal - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation, novelist Dr. Muhammad Al-Taan, all of whom will be honored for their role in enriching the cultural movement between Egypt and Russia.

The opening ceremony will also feature the fair’s dignified jury members; Dr. Haitham Al-Hajj - President of the General Book Authority, writer and director Dr. Afaf Tabbalah, the writer Mounir Atiba, Tariq Al-Taher - the former editor-in-chief of Akhbar Al-Adab newspaper Over the course of 10 days, the exhibition program will include a number of cultural activities by top notch artists and writers, including Dr. Medhat Al-Adl, the great critic Prof. Abd al-Salam al-Shazly, the great historian Tariq Mansour, the journalist and writer Essam Yusef, and the journalist Doaa Farouk.

MSA University and the Faculty of Mass Communication would love to announce the holding of a symposium on "Egypt Russia: The Depth of History" by the great historian Dr. Tarek Mansour, the writer Doha El-Asi, Member of Parliament.

 

In addition, Khaled Thabet is managing the symposium. The Symposium will be on the 30th of March, 2021 at the Cinema Hall- SSB at 11 AM as a part of the activities of the fourth session of the Book Fair held from March 29 to April 10th under the title "Egypt Russia ... Culture and more

MSA University - Dr. Muhammed El Taan, Prof. Dr Abdel Salam El Shazly and Prof Dr. Ayedi Ali Gomaa

 

As a part of the activities of the fourth session of the Book Fair held from March 29th to April 10th under the title "Egypt & Russia… Culture and more", MSA University and the Faculty of Mass Communication is contented to announce that a seminar "Between criticism and literature" will be held by the great novelist, Dr. Muhammed El-Taan, the great critic Prof. Dr. Abdel Salam El-Shazly and Prof. Dr. Ayedi Ali Gomaa. The dialogue is managed by the chief broadcaster of Voice of the Arabs, Dr. Gamal Hammad.

MSA University - Dr. Medhat El-Adl Workshop

 

MSA University and the Faculty of Mass Communication would love to announce the holding of a writing workshop for script writing by the great writer, poet and author Dr. Medhat El-Adl. The workshop duration will be three days which are the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of April, 2021.

MSA University - Essam Youssef

 

MSA University and the Faculty of Mass Communication is contented to announce that a symposium by well-known journalist and writer Essam Youssef, the author of the novels “Quarter Gram”, “Two Officers” which are the best-selling novels in Egypt.

 

Also, he is the author of the 2015 series “Go and Return” and the author of the idea and presentation of the “Genius” program.

 

The symposium will be held on Monday April 5th ,2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Roman Theater as a part of the activities of the fourth session of the Book Fair held from March 29 to April 10th under the title "Egypt and Russia, Culture and more".

 

MSA University - Ahmed Taha

 

MSA University and the Faculty of Mass Communication would love to announce the holding of a seminar " Open dialogue with youth " by Dr. Ahmed Taha Abo Elezz.

 

The symposium will be held on Monday April 5th, 2021 from 10:30 to 11:30 at the Roman Theatre as a part of the activities of the fourth session of the Book Fair held from March 29 to April 10th under the title "Egypt and Russia, Culture and more"

 

MSA University - Dr. Dina Mohamed & Mr. Mohsen Abdelaziz

 

MSA University and the Faculty of Mass Communication would love to announce the holding of a seminar on "Novelists of Egypt and Russia: Dialogue of Cultures" by Dr. Dina Muhammad, Prof. Mohsen Abdel Aziz, editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram, and the dialogue is managed by Dr. Hala El Zahed.

 

The symposium will be held on Monday April 5th, 2021 at 11 AM in the SSB Building Cinema Hall as a part of the activities of the fourth session of the Book Fair held from March 29 to April 10th under the title "Egypt and Russia, Culture and more"
