The 10th International Loughborough Antennas & Propagation Conference (LAPC) 2014

Faculty of Engineering is proud to announce that two of MSA Grad I students; Aliaa Asad and Khaled Mohamed, of ESE Department, have submitted a paper, titled “Wide Band High Selective Compact Metamaterial Antenna for 2 GHz Wireless Applications", to the 10th International Loughborough Antennas & Propagation Conference (LAPC) 2014, where it was successfully accepted.

LAPC conference is considered the largest annual UK international conference dedicated to the fields of Antennas and Propagation. The conference will be held in Burleigh Court International Conference Centre, Loughborough, UK on the 10th and 11th of November 2014, in which our promising students are going to present their novel work in front of an attendance of 250 national and international participants from academia, research institutes, industry and government bodies. The conference is sponsored by IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). This is in addition to a number of well-known commercial sponsors; such as CST, IMST, FEKO and ANSYS. It is worth mentioning that Aliaa and Khaled have been granted Grade ‘A’ by the Egyptian jury as well as the British Jury with positive reviews indicating the high quality level of work, presented in the assessment of ESE Grad I projects. MSA University wishes its students to proceed as planned, under supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Abdallah, where outstanding outcomes are expected from both of them in their Grad II
