MSA Management Students Win 3rd Place at GEW Competition

Two of MSA Marketing students have won the third place in the Global Entrepreneurship Week competition (GEW) that was held in Gouna in the 19th of November 2015.

The Faculty of Management Sciences is proud to announce that two of its Marketing students have won the third place in the Global Entrepreneurship Week competition (GEW) that was held in Gouna in the 19th of November 2015. Farouk Hosny and Mokhtar Ayman our two senior students applied to the competition under the name of TYRO team; along with 2,000 teams from all around Egypt. The Global Entrepreneurship Week inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities. The initiative launched in 2008 and has since grown to 125 countries—with 24,008 partner organizations planning 33,846 activities that directly engage millions of participants every year.GEW continues to attract and engage high-profile entrepreneurs who are enthusiastic to share their personal experiences and insights—including Richard Branson, Michael Dell, Russell Simmons and others. Meanwhile, world leaders on each continent and local elected officials alike have embraced the campaign as they look to fuel the economic engine of high-growth startups in their own countries and communities.
