EY International Young Tax Professional of the Year

Dear Accounting Students, Faculty of Management Sciences at MSA will participate in EY International Young Tax Professional of the Year competition. EY has sent us the following information:
As you know, EY Global has been organizing this international competition across all regions of the world for so long and we’re proud that Egypt has been representing the MENA region in the past 6 years.

This competition is different in some aspects compared to the other competitions we’ve been recently organizing on your campus; however, the purpose is after all to provide the opportunity for personal, academic, and professional exchange of talent and skills between the students as well as connection and understanding of the various markets and EY’s position therein. The Global Competition will be held in Amsterdam from Saturday, 24 November to Wednesday, 28 November 2018 where the global finalists from across the world compete together in areas related to Tax and the winners are awarded per the ranks below: ► 1st prize: A 30-day world trip including 10-days of organised visits to EY Centres in key markets (London, New York City and Hong Kong)
► 2nd prize: A 10-day organized visit to one of the Area Tax Centres or Hubs (e.g. London)
► 3rd prize: Participation in a relevant EY Client Conference
► 4th, 5th and 6th: a recognition reward On a local level in Cairo, they will arrange a competition between the Top Universities in Egypt from which they will choose only 1 Finalist to represent Cairo and the Middle East region in Amsterdam. The firm supports travelling and other expenses including sponsoring the student fully during his/her trip in Amsterdam. The date of the local competition is expected to be held on 1 & 2 October 2018, and location to TBC.
